Ricardo Montalban stars as young scientist Federico Vascon, who's on a mission to locate a stock of plants needed to produce precious cortisone in this subtitled Spanish-language adventure set in the thick of Mexico's Veracruz jungle. He soon encounters a man (Víctor Parra) who's created his own world apart from society, but problems arise when his winsome daughter (Ariadna Welter) proves a tempting distraction for Vascon.
