Three short films by media artist Debra Stratman blur the line between abstract and documentary filmmaking, featuring haunting and beautiful visuals. "Kings of the Sky" follows tightrope artist Adil Hoxur on a tour of the Chinese desert; "In Order Not to Be Here" goes undercover in the suburbs to investigate a culture of isolation; and "From Hetty to Nancy" uses handwritten letters to tell the story of two turn-of-the-century friends.
