Somewhere in Europe
Geza von Radvanyi directs this heartfelt drama produced by the Hungarian Communist Party, considered the first major achievement of the country's postwar film industry. When a ragtag band of orphans finds its way to a bombed-out castle, the children discover an eccentric musician (Arthur Somlay) who's been emotionally destroyed by conflict. But will the love of their makeshift family be enough to protect them against a cruel civilization?
