Lawrence, a wandering merchant who's fallen on hard times, thinks fortune has finally smiled on him when he discovers a mysterious urchin -- part wolf, part girl, all goddess -- stowing away inside his cart. Holo, the harvest deity, wants nothing more than to return to her native home to the north, while Lawrence sees a golden opportunity he's not about to let slip through his fingers.
