After a failed relationship, artist Marilyn (Marie-Françoise Theodore) decides to break free of her boring life and search for inner happiness. But then she meets recently divorced Rodney (Christian Payton). The two begin dating, but Marilyn's torn -- she can't decide whether she wants a loving relationship with one man (and whether that's even a realistic goal), or whether she should find fulfillment within herself and relish her independence.
