Losing control of an aircraft kills more pilots than any other aviation risk besides combat itself. Battling this trend is Cmdr. Rob Niewhoner, a test pilot specializing in the recovery of planes after they spin out of control. This high-flying "spin doctor" throws the F/A-18 Super Hornet into a series of highly dangerous flight positions just to prove that the jet can be safely recovered in a real-world scenario.
