After narrowly escaping execution, Laramie Nelson (Buster Crabbe) rescues Tracks Wilson (Raymond Hatton) from a similar fate, taking up residence with his new friend in a small Arizona town. While attempting to help shy local Alonzo Mulhall (Johnny Downs) marry his dream girl (Betty Jane Rhodes), the twosome uncovers a plot by ruthless attorney Monroe Adams (Grant Withers) to steal a prosperous rancher's horses.
