The Ballad of Bering Strait
After forming the country band Bering Strait in their native Russia, several teens move to Nashville hoping to find fame and fortune. This documentary traces band's struggles dealing with record labels, debt, immigration problems and homesickness. Filmed over the course of over two years, this piece of cinema verité follows the band members from their homes in Obninsk to their performance on the main stage at Wolf Trap National Park.
