During the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, a Russian tank gets lost among Afghan rebels in the desert and ends up locked in a supersized cat-and-mouse game. As cultures clash outside, tempers flare inside when the tank's conscientious driver disagrees with the cruel orders of his commander.
