The Big Broadcast of 1938 / College Swing
Bob Hope makes two of his first feature-film appearances in these classic musicals, crooning the Oscar-winning tune "Thanks for the Memory" in The Big Broadcast of 1938 and "How'dya Like to Love Me" in College Swing. First, an ocean liner owner (W.C. Fields) races another vessel while musicians perform in his ship's lounge. Then, a free-spirited student (Gracie Allen) inherits her college and transforms it into a happening hangout.
