A male prostitute and his sensitive neighbor develop an unexpected relationship in this moving German drama. Noticing Marie's (Dina Leipzig) devastation after her boyfriend, Paul (Cyrille Rey-Coquis), dumps her, call boy Theo (Andreas Herder) tries to help, and their friendship soon grows deeper, touching a part of Theo he's frozen in order to service his male clients. When Paul returns, however, his presence threatens this fragile new union.
