The Cars That Ate Paris
Filmmaker Peter Weir satirizes Australian popular culture's obsession with cars in this dark and funny tale. When Arthur (John Mellon) is kidnapped and kept in the remote town of Paris, he finds that the eccentric residents have an unusual relationship with their equally strange fleet of automobiles. Also includes an interview with the director, as well as Weir's 1977 TV movie "The Plumber."
