This stark drama follows a group of outsiders who live and work in miserable conditions, driving decrepit trucks on hazardous wintry roads for a timber company. When a new boss arrives, bringing his beautiful wife with him, the fragile balance of this desperate community becomes broken, resulting in tragedy.
