Freddy and Albert (Maurice Compte, Paddy Connor) are two young troublemakers who meet and forge a unique bond while hitchhiking across the United States in search of unattainable goals. Freddy is headed to Indiana to hit up his uncle for cash to support his pregnant girlfriend, while Albert hopes to reunite with his estranged mother in Reno. Together, the boys jump trains, steal cars and evade the law in their search for a place in society.
