A string of setbacks leaves Steve and Eileen Stevens (Tom Virtue and Donna Pescow) susceptible to silver-tongued Miles McDermott (Tim Meadows), who cons them into believing the family has won a vacation to an island paradise. But the trip is just a ploy to turn the Stevens clan into unsuspecting participants on a reality television show. Sean McNamara directs this made-for-TV film based on the Disney Channel's "Even Stevens" sitcom.

Parents need to know that aside from excessive silliness, moments of horseplay, and overall chaos, this movie's subject matter is harmless. There's trickery and dissent and serious dating and kissing on the part of an eighth grade girl. (It should be noted, too, that the junior high kids look like they're at least juniors or seniors in high school.)
