Still looking to crack a "big case," Phoenix cop Ben Shockley's (Clint Eastwood) assignment to escort "a nothing witness for a nothing trial" seems like another mundane job. But the witness is a hardened hooker everyone -- including Vegas oddsmakers -- wants dead. Trapped between both sides of the law, the two must navigate raging gunfire, blazing cars, murderous ambushes and crooked police just to survive.
