The image is anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen. Sound options include English in Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2.0 Surround; French in Dolby 2.0 Surround Sound; and English subtitles. Extras consist of a making-of featurette, theatrical and teaser trailers, and four cut scenes, including an alternate ending that was wisely discarded. Director Simon West's (Con Air) largely inane commentary contains one interesting fact: Because the Army wouldn't cooperate with the making of his film, most of the movie's military hardware had to be computer-generated.
