Summary of Season 1 (1985) - 3 discs

Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, Betty White and Estelle Getty star in this Emmy-winning sitcom as a quartet of disparate Florida seniors who share a house, their dreams, more than a few boyfriends and a boatload of cheesecake. In Season 1, Rose (White) and Dorothy (Arthur) move in to Blanche's (McLanahan) Miami home. Soon, they're joined by Dorothy's mother, Sophia (Getty), who may or may not have burned down her retirement home, Shady Pines.

Common Sense Note

Parents need to know that this series' adult humor revolves around the friendships between a group of older women.
