Dr. Dre and Ed Lover -- the stars and disc jockeys of "Yo! MTV Raps" -- portray Tre-dog and C-Note, two guys desperate to become rap icons. They'll do almost anything to make their dreams come true but find that it's tough to make it without money or showbiz connections. When a shady record-label representative agrees to sign the duo if they cough up some greenbacks first, Tre-dog and C-Note decide to rob a drug dealer of $20,000 cash.
