In two exquisitely recorded concerts for Danish TV in 1967, American jazz icon Duke Ellington performs solo and with his famed sidemen on such standards as "Take the A Train," "Sophisticated Lady," "Passion Flower" and others. Ellington fans will relish not only the ace improvisations from the Duke himself but also rare appearances by Johnny Hodges on alto sax, Paul Gonsalves on tenor, Harry Carney on baritone and Cat Anderson on trumpet.
