In this animated fable based on the classic yuletide tune, slave boy Michael follows his Roman masters into the desert to gather census information, but the journey turns into an adventure when he encounters the Three Wise Men. Young Michael finds strength in faith as he endures broiling desert heat and gets swept up in life-altering events involving a shipwreck, a jailbreak and rescuing baby Jesus -- and ultimately gains his freedom.
