The Narcotic Story
This cautionary 1958 quasi-documentary from director Robert W. Larson portrays the alarming moral and physical decay of an everyday girl as she slides from casual drug experimentation to full-on addiction to hard-core narcotics. As devoted police officers battle the tide of illicit drugs and the deterioration of America's youth, they also confront unsettling scenes of strung-out junkies desperately jonesing for their next fix.
