The Phantom of 42nd Street
Death haunts the Great White Way in this 1945 mystery. On assignment to review the Broadway debut of actress Claudia Moore (Kay Aldridge), drama critic Tony Woolrich (Dave O'Brien) finds a dead body -- the ingénue's millionaire uncle -- hanging backstage. Tony's editor convinces him to follow the story, but two murders later, the befuddled critic enlists the help of Lt. Walsh (Jack Mulhall) to set a trap for the killer.
