Chinese poet Gu Cheng enjoyed a legendary celebrity status in his native country, so much so that he was known as "The John Lennon of China." This fascinating film presents a revealing look at Cheng, from the heights of his well-deserved fame to the lowest depths of the depression he constantly battled.
