A woman tries desperately to avoid hurting the man she loves in Belgian director Marc Levie's dark tale. A combination of fantasy, myth and gender-related symbolism, the film centers on mysterious Sylvia (Lou Boclain), who begins to assume the instincts of a female praying mantis. Terrified by her new feelings and afraid she'll harm loyal boyfriend Julien (Yann Chely), Sylvia finds a man who meets her needs in womanizing Patrick (Sacha Kollich).
