The West Point Story
Out-of-work Broadway director Elwin "Bix" Bixby (James Cagney) reluctantly agrees to put on a musical show at West Point starring the producer's (Roland Winters) cadet nephew (Gordon MacRae). But it's hardly smooth sailing as Bix discovers the unique challenges of staging a production. Virginia Mayo and Doris Day co-star in this spunky comedy that's packed with tunes from songwriter Jule Styne and lyricist Sammy Cahn.
