Frank Borzage's 1929 comedy stars Will Rogers as Pike Peters, a mechanic who gets an unexpected windfall from an oil field, prompting his wife to drag the family to Paris in search of a culture befitting their newfound status. Soon, Pike and his family begin attracting a variety of French admirers, creating a slew of hilarious encounters between this simple Oklahoma family and the unsuspecting French aristocracy.
