Samantha (Alexandra Paul), a stressed-out Internet security expert, is forced to abandon her plans for a relaxing weekend with her teenage daughter (Tatiana Maslany) when they're kidnapped and held hostage by a band of thugs. As it turns out, the bad guys have targeted them for a very specific reason: They need Samantha's skills to pull off a high-stakes crime that involves hacking the computers at the FBI.
