Soprano Birgit Nilsson stars in her career-defining role as Isolde, the tragic heroine of Richard Wagner's opera of the medieval legend. As Isolde pursues Tristan (tenor Jon Vickers), the son of her husband-to-be, fates conspire to doom the lovers. Water Berry co-stars in this 1973 production from Théâtre Antique d'Orange in Paris.
