John Hudson and Joanne Pearce star in this BBC production of Shakespeare's romantic comedy about two friends who travel to Milan and fall in love with the same woman. Proteus and Valentine betray each other to win Silvia's heart, and things get even messier when Proteus' girlfriend arrives posing as a male servant.
