Two Weeks to Live
Lum and Abner (Chester Lauck and Norris Goff, reprising their popular radio roles) journey from Arkansas to Chicago, where they must earn a big wad of money fast if they want to claim a railroad they've inherited. Complicating matters, Abner is mistakenly diagnosed with a terminal illness and agrees to perform a series of idiotic stunts so he can claim a big paycheck. The nutty slapstick comedy also stars Franklin Pangborn as Mr. Pinkney.
