Mark Bellows (the nephew of novelist Saul Bellows) plays Abie, an ultraorthodox Jew who's struggling to maintain the illusion that he comes from a "normal" family. But there's one big secret he's been keeping from his son: that the boy has a mentally handicapped uncle, Chaim (Steve Arons), whom Abie has shunned since childhood. Will Abie continue to shut his brother out of his life, or will he finally accept him as one of the family?
