Common Sense Note

Parents need to know that VeggieTales: Where's God When I'm S-Scared? teaches viewers that there's nothing to worry about or fear because God is looking out for us. Using the example of a scary movie with a monster, it instructs that God made everyone and everything and therefore is protecting everyone. There's a minor bit of secular advice when the actor who plays the monster in the scary movie appears and explains he's just an actor who's pretending. In a second segment, through the story of Daniel and the lion's den, viewers learn that knowing God is looking out for you means not having to worry. At the end, viewers are instructed to pray to God and thank him for looking out for them.

Sexual Content

Violence

Minor peril when Junior Asparagus watches a movie featuring the scary FrankenCelery. Later, Daniel is thrown down a dark hole to await a lion -- who's shown with scary yellow eyes only in the pitch black -- who's supposed to devour him.
