When his drug-addicted girlfriend, Kelly (Yeniffer Behrens), leaves him, Griffin (Godfrey) suddenly finds himself the reluctant guardian of Kelly's young daughter, Ginny (Paige Hurd). Unprepared for the responsibility, Griffin packs up the girl and heads for California to find her father. Their search takes them through the dangerous underworld of Los Angeles and creates a bond that neither expected to find. Dwight Hicks and Susan Oliver co-star.
