For six months during World War II, legendary filmmaker John Huston served as an embedded reporter with the U.S. Army's Signal Corps. This resulting documentary depicts life among soldiers protecting Alaska's Aleutian Islands. The men share their views on the war as a whole as well as being stationed in the most remote potential target for Japanese attack. Huston also narrates this Academy Award-nominated film.
