Newly released ex-con Joey Grasso (Salvatore Coco) is intent on rehabilitation. He's also seeing a paraplegic woman whom he thinks is one of the keys to his salvation. But when Joey starts mooning over a lackluster singer at a local dive, he veers from the straight-and-narrow once again. He's headed for ruin for sure ... or is he?
