Will Rogers Collection: Life Begins at Forty
While trying to help a wrongly accused young man, small-town newspaper editor Kenesaw Clark (Will Rogers) uncovers corruption involving a local bigwig in this comedy. Convinced that Lee Austin (Richard Cromwell) is innocent of robbery charges, Clark takes him in and helps him woo the lovely Adele (Rochelle Hudson). But Clark's kind actions anger banker Col. Abercrombie (George Barbier), whose political aspirations depend on Austin's guilt.
