As part of doing research for a new book about witchcraft, Linda Sullivan (Catherine Hickland) travels with her shutterbug boyfriend (David Hasselhoff) to an abandoned, ramshackle hotel on a picturesque island off the coast of Massachusetts. Shortly after arriving, they're joined by a family looking to buy the building. But when a fierce storm traps them all on the isle, the weather will soon be the least of their worries thanks to an evil witch.
