Common Sense Note

Parents need to know that this sitcom based on the British show The Worst Week of My Life centers on an unmarried couple who lives together and is expecting a child. The series includes fairly frequent (though generally pretty mild) sexual references -- mostly people inferring that they'd like to have sex -- and some social drinking among adults (one instance of excessive drinking shows a woman throwing up on someone), but it's probably nothing teens haven't already seen. Expect some language ("ass," "bitch," and the like) as well.

Sexual Content

Fairly mild -- but relatively frequent -- sexual innuendoes/references like "I just had a naughty thought" and "I'm turned on." Visual humor includes a joke that makes it look like a character has an erection, a character being caught naked (not in a sexual way), and more.

Violence

Some falls and missteps (a man slips and gets a concussion, for instance), but they're all played for laughs in the context of the show's premise/tone.

Language

Language includes words like "bitch," "jackass," "hell," and "ass."

Social Behavior

An unmarried couple lives together and is expecting a baby. Some potty humor; for example, in one scene, a man mistakes a cooking pot containing a marinating goose for a toilet and urinates in it.

Consumerism

Not applicable

Drugs / Tobacco / Alcohol

Adults drink beer and mixed drinks in social settings. Supporting characters occasionally drink excessively, as in one scene in which an intoxicated woman flirts persistently with a co-worker -- before throwing up on his shirt.
