Common Sense Note
Parents need to know that this cheesy romantic comedy is squeaky clean and family friendly. That said, it's completely unbelievable and full of unrealistic notions about romance and love. Expect a bit of teen kissing and some mild misbehavior.
Sexual
Content
The film is all about matchmaking and falling in love. There's hand holding, couples pairing up/sitting near each other, and slow dancing. The twins have deep kisses with their dates, and their parents kiss at the beginning and the end.
Violence
The film opens with a car crash -- no injuries. A high schooler beats up another student.
Language
During class, students giggle when a student stumbles on "breast" while reciting a line from Shakespeare.
Social
Behavior
The movie's focus on romantic love and matchmaking sends the message that coupledom is a primary goal for teens and adults. But the message that family comes first -- before boyfriends, etc. -- is loud and clear.
