Although Fawcett's first major film role in Myra Breckinridge (1970) was a critical flop, a popular pinup that showed off the blond actress's assets in a skimpy one-piece set her on course for major stardom. Despite a résumé of Emmy-nominated roles in television movies such as The Burning Bed (1984) and Small Sacrifices (1989), Fawcett is best known as one of the three original "Charlie's Angels" -- even though she was only a series regular for one season.
In 2006, Fawcett began what would become a painful and public battle with cancer, an ordeal documented in the news special "Farrah's Story." She finally succumbed to the disease on June 25, 2009.
High jinks and hilarity ensue as daring drivers -- including Burt Reynolds, Farrah Fawcett, Dom DeLuise, Peter Fonda, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Jackie Chan -- team up for an illegal cross-country road race that they'll do anything to win.
