A familiar face on Broadway, Ivanek has three Tony nominations to his name. But he is more often recognized for his work on the small screen: as prosecutor Ed Danvers on "Homicide: Life on the Street," Gov. James Devlin on "Oz" and assassin Andre Drazen on "24." Ivanek also earned his first Emmy win for his portrayal of skilled Southern attorney Ray Fiske on the FX drama series "Damages."
Ivanek's notable films include School Ties (1992), Courage Under Fire (1996), A Civil Action (1998), Black Hawk Down (2001), The Manchurian Candidate (2004) and In Bruges (2008).
Based on a true story, U.S. Rangers and an elite Delta Force team attempt to kidnap two underlings of a Somali warlord, their Black Hawk helicopters are shot down, and the Americans face intense combat with the militia on the ground.
